The Cracks Are Beginning To Show
John Boehner and his crew are starting to crack down on the Tea Party true believers. Could it be the folks in charge of the GOP have decided extremism hurt them in the last election?

This is an interesting development, but what it portends remains unclear. If it's really a policy move intended to send a message to the lunatic fringers the days of scorched-earth, no-compromise obstruction can't go on, good for Boehner. OTOH, if it's more a case of Boehner coming to work with a bad head and the four of them showed him belligerence when he was in no mood — more of a personal conflict — then who knows?
This has nothing to do with "extremism" and everything to do with party politics. The Tea Party is a threat to establishment GOP insiders and must be destroyed so they may maintain their fiefdoms. Dude, why is it that you think we left that party?
