I have no problem with saying "Merry Christmas" or hearing some of the more traditional Christmas carols in school programs like some on the left do. I don't see Christmas under attack... Christmas is here to stay.
As for whether people are straying from religion or not in our country, that's different, and if they are, it doesn't mean those who stray are necessarily attacking Christmas. Bill O'Reilly and FOX can get pretty silly sometimes... "there's a war on Christmas" and the thing about Christianity not being a religion, but a philosophy. Heh!
The main thing I dislike about this time of year is the non-stop playing of Christmas music in stores and other public places. I was at my dentist office the week after Thanksgiving and they already had that crap on the radio. It's really a wonder we don't have more retail employees going postal this time of year.
Right now I'm at a clinic getting an allergy shot and am enduring Bob Seger singing "The Little Drummer Boy". And now Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas". Once a year is plenty often enough to drag out that sort of stuff...

That's pretty good.

Aw, come on, Jim! It's Christmas! LOL! I know though, it does always take over to the point that I'm very glad it only happens once a year.
